table top sale ?

is there anyone interested in doing a table top sale at the moorland centre , as i'm thinking of holding one once a month there, but need to know approx how many would be interested before i book the hall.
the tables would have to be paid for of course to cover cost of renting, but anything sold would be for yourself to do as you pleased ,so to speak.
you don't have to have a table every month, just need to know if there is an interest,just let me know here or by email ,thanks.

me and my mum would like to have a table, please. i think there is definately a place for more table tops. if you decide to go a head i can put posters up for you, i do this when age concern have one.

thanks im still waiting to hear from council about how much the hall would cost ,we are thinking of a wednesday morning between 10am-1pm if we can get it then ,will let you know soon as its all sorted .

yes maheb, can we have one please? We have lots of stuff leftover from our charity jumble, plus a tombola ready to go. It would all be for charity but of course we are more than happy to pay for hall hire etc

by the way what is a table top sale? Is it like a communal jumble sale?

It's where people pay say a fiver for a table and they put their stuff out on the table top to sell to visitors to it and then they keep the profits from the sale of their goods.

the event is advertised as a table top sale. I'm sure you can aslo do tombolas from your table top too

it's just that she wanted to know when she rang up and said i've to put it on the form ,hopefully table's/hall won't cost too much ,but i will let you all know before you fully commit to one .
because i won't be ripped off by the council .

i'm cheesed off putting it politely at the moment , if i hire the hall in my name i will need to take out insurance to a minium of a million pounds and i can't afford that at this moment as i've just started my own business .

well council as done it again , not only do we need the insurance but every table as to be for charity,or we pay through the roof for the hall , far to much to beable to make anything , so sorry but its gonna have to be a no go.
i'm fuming that the council doesn't make it easier,for us, after all they want these buildings to be use , but it seems only for charity purposes, hope you all find some where ,sorry had to let you down blooming red tape ,still think it was a good ideal though.

would it be the same for all halls? Cos I hired out the one on St Giles and it was only about a fiver an hour. Yes it was for charity, but I'm thinking a deal could be done....?
