Bit schmaltzy but my best ever buy was a computer and internet connection. What a fabulous source of friendship and information. I'm sure I'd be a rather lonely person without it!
My other best one would be my greenhouse, which opened up a whole new world of gardening and having my own fresh food.
Or in terms of bargains, the 1960s dressing table and drawers that I bought for £40 the pair which turned out to be worth several hundred £££s
Worst? Hmm, I shan't be bitter and say wedding rings It's not bad really but probably the foot spa that I was convinced I'd use all the time but that has lived in cupboard untouched since I got it. Must put it on DDT!

best buys there are many but my 2 favs are my bike off ebay. paid £323 for it and it was worth approx £1100. The bloke even personally delivered it to me all the way from St Neots because he was worried about it getting broken in transit by a courier. lol
The other is my fish tank which I bought off ebay for £65 and collected from Holbeach. Was complete with fish (all of which were rehomed later as they werent suitable for the tank) and all equipment/substrate etc. The actual glass is the only remnant of this original purchase as I have upgraded most of the equipment and hood and cabinet etc since then.

Re: what has been you best ever or worst ever buy.
worst buy - our boxer! I did not know this at the time, but he was from a puppy farm - I am very much against puppy farms - but this fact was very well hidden.
He was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few weeks after we got him, has suffered from acne (which cost a small fortune in dermatologists fees - only to be cleared by a £3 tub of wound powder from a pet shop), he then lost a little bit of his ear due to another unknown infection (cue dermatologists fees one again, and yes, the wound powder sorted it out again!)
Once this was sorted we could *finally* get him insured - although this is little comfort considering he has consummed more baby wipes and face wipes than I care to think of, jewellery, my eczema cream, knickers, socks, Neils christmas Galaxy, countless hot dog rolls, mushrooms, and kitchen roll (yes really, he eats kitchen roll)
His bad attitude has landed him in scrapes with our other dogs - meaning more vets bills (our excess is £50 - it's not worth claiming for anything less) for the injured parties. Not forgetting my cherry liqueurs choccies that a client brought me for Christmas - I was really looking forward to those!
He figured out how to get into my make up bag......I dont often treat myself to nice things, but I thought my posh bottle of Dior foundation would last more than a week.......
Would I swap him? No!!
Do I regret getting him in the first place? Yes!! He is sickly, arrogant and ill-bred!! But we live and learn, right?
Best buy - any beer and cd's - music and alcohol is always worth it's money lol!
