Eco-warriors of Wales win ten-year battle to stay in their mud huts
For five happy years they enjoyed simple lives in their straw and mud huts.
Generating their own power and growing their own food, they strived for self-sufficiency and thrived in homes that looked more suited to the hobbits from The Lord of the Rings.
Then a survey plane chanced upon the 'lost tribe'... and they were plunged into a decade-long battle with officialdom.

Crazy that they had such a fight over it when we're all supposed to be cutting down on excessive consumption and trying to live 'greener' lifestyles

I remember seeing something on tv about this a couple of years back, if they are not doing any harm, whats the big deal?
'Officialdom' (good word lol) is nuts, this could drive green people underground - possibly quite literally!
'Greenism' might even become an offense!
