Petition bid to end parking in city street

Motorists could be stopped from parking in a Lincoln street after dozens of residents signed a petition.

More than 70 people living in Roman Wharf, off Carholme Road, Lincoln, signed a petition and presented it to Lincolnshire County Council's highways department.

The problems stem from drivers parking down the side of the road in designated two hour slots.

i sympathise however - you have to pay to park in most places now, we find ourselves not going into town often, in favour of free parking supermarkets. the councils greed is causing this!
