sore thoat,bad cough

as anyone else got a sore thoat and a bad cough that they can't seem to shift.
hubby as been coughed all over at work by customers, gave it to me ,his ok now but can't seem to get rid of mine ,help.

My 2 sons had it for about 2 weeks. Medicine didn't seem to be working, then at 2 weeks they had diahorreah and the day after all cured.

Something to look forward to. lol

thanks ,i would rather get over it without the diahorreah,maybe i can ,will let you know when i find the cure,will try some of grandmas remedies.

diahorreah is an easy one to cure, no food for 24hours, just water, i always used this with the kids and it always works!

well its turned into flu, my whole body is aching, spent day in bed yesterday instead of going to church as usual,hubby bless him looked after me ,by making sure i had hot lemon and honey, (disgusting,can't stand either)which did me good, also managed to eat a little of what he cooked for dinner, he gave me a bell so i could ring it if i needed him.
and gave me extra blankets on bed so i could keep warm, he kept coming to check on me, i slept quite a lot.

Only had 'flu once and was quite poorly so asked at local health center if could be considered for a yearly 'flu jab even though not in an 'at risk' group.Quite amenable and now get a jab at the beginning of October each year.However,I do know of people that have been refused mainly due to a lack of sufficient vaccine.

i suffer from asthma had it once was so bad after it, never had it again.

Both my sons suffered from asthma, (I blame living in 'megawatt' valley and the discharge from the power stations),so you have my sympathy.

thanks but some some reason my computer shuts down everytime i try to click on these items where ever there are, i'm getting better the old lemon and honey drink (disgusting)and garlic in food is helping , just got to get rid of this cough and i will be back to normal,or as normal as i can be.

Pleased to hear your on the mend.My boss has just walked in coughing and spluttering so I don't suppose it will be long before I'm laid low.

good luck,the trouble is alot of people do not cover their mouths when coughing etc,so germs go everywhere

I don't believe it!He only came in to tell me he's off to his place in Spain for a few days to recover! He'll expect me in even if I go down with something!

i once had a sore throat and stiff neck, it turned out id swallowed a flute!

I once got one of my yearly Viagra tablets stuck in my throat with a similar result!

hahahahhahaha i cough when i laugh stop cracking jokes till i'm better.
thats about right for a boss to do that but to expect workers to carry on.

i got marched to the doctors by my family, and my daughter stayed with me to make sure i saw a doctor, now i've got to take pencillium,steriods tablets as well, this cough as turn into a bad chest infection.
