UK 'closer' to joining Euro!!!
The UK is "closer" to joining the euro than ever before, according to European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso.

This government will do anything to dig itself out of a hole having blamed everyone and anything for the current state of affairs except ,of course, themselves.

It will bounce back next year after the 'euro zone' suffers from lack of tourism money which comes mainly from..........Britain, US and Japan........Oooh the ones they are laughing at presently.

The portuguese (obviously not the ones from Alentejo) use this word to call other people lazy
Because they sit back and watch their cheese and grapes develop and then put in a few weeks work and wait for their wine to ferment. lol
Best part of the country IMO. NO BRITS That may change though. Silly 'new villages' appearing all over the untouched rustic areas which look like holiday condos to me!!!

Expensive part of Portugal at the moment. Lisbon is very fashionable at the moment and also the Troia Peninsula/Sesimbra/Arrabida are drawing quite a lot of investment.
Hopefully now the money is drying up to buy said properties the housing prices will come down.
My wife's family live in Palmela near Setubal at the start of the Arrabida range and its what Lincoln could've been like if the hadn't built all the way down the hill and further. lol. Very expensive though.
