as i keep waking up with them,and i'm fed up of it .

if its what i get (rarely) i believe its to do with circulation, the only way to get it going properly again is move about!

Combom's right with the primary cause and cure!
My idea comes under secondary causes 'low sodium' etc.
Try eating Kebabs before you go to bed! Very Happy

I used to get them when I was pregnant and midwife told me to peddle legs in air to get circulation going, before going to bed ,also have heard it salt related and eat a bag of ready salted crisps before bed

when i lived in spain i used to suffer cramp all the time and took sodium tablets to stop it worked a treat, it cos i was losing salt through sweating but i dont eat salt alot!

In another life I took enteric coated salt tablets to replace lost sodium in high temperatures.Nowadays I have to watch salt intake because of hyper-tension.It seems a balance is required to prevent problems.
