Cold-caller scheme to be extended

A scheme in Lincolnshire aimed at stopping unwanted door-to-door salesmen, rogue traders and distraction burglars is being extended.

The No Cold Calling Zone has been so successful in Boston and Horncastle it is to be rolled out in Louth, Mablethorpe and Holton Le Clay.

In order to alert people to the No Cold Calling Zone, signs are being erected on lampposts.

good idea, i use to get loads of salesmen at my door,since the no cold calling happened i don't get them.

put a note on your door "no cold callers, i never buy or sign anything from cold callers, and yes, I am happy with all services i receive, this means YOU!".

it works on most, and those who knock, be abusive, they never come back!

aint had none in ages, but in flat so gotta buzz them in, and i'd tell them to buzz off lol
