4,000 cars seized in rogue driver crackdown

Police have seized more than 4,000 cars from Lincolnshire drivers who flout the law, it has been revealed.

Nuisance drivers and those with no insurance or licence have been targeted by officers since legislation was introduced late in 2005.

Of the 4,437 cars that have been seized, just 1,705 were claimed by their owners and 2,732 were crushed.
