out of date food at tesco
we popped into tesco uphill tonight, to get as prescription, as we had 5 mins to wait we looked around, i want for the reduced section, 7 desserts reduced from 79p to 16p, so i put them in the trolley. we got the prescription, paid and i noticed a date on the out of date desserts, all except one was today, the last one was the 19th august, a week out of date. as we thought it not safe to eat i went to customer services, they took one look at it and took it off me, giving me 3 of them in exchange that where in date! not bad for 16p
good job i spotted it though! i expect theyll roast the person behind it all later

My daughter was at top Tesco the other day and got something from the chiller ... can't remember what it was but they were all out of date by about 3 days !!! She told the chap filling the chillers and he said " for god's sake we're just checking them ... is that alright with you ?"
She put in a complaint and as with the girl on the front of tonight's Echo someone was supposed to ring her but haven't !!!

as i have said in poast i did about sainsbury's some places are better than others. morrisons are absolutely useless. as are asda. i used always ge my kids a bottle of milkshake. my son was having a hypo so i got what i thorought was lincolnshire sausage rolls and got a milkshake. i gave him one and took a bite andturned out to be cheese and onion, he is allergic tro cheese so he was sick and he took a mouthful of te milkshae and it was off as well. it made him really unwell but morrison's showed no concerns or make any effort on their customer services.

all the big stores want is our money ,we need to show by our feet and purses of what we want , i was always taught when learning the selling trade, that the customer is always right and to be respectful at all times ,plus i always make sure my customers are happy ,its called good business but as most people have found out the stores now a days don't care.

I've had a few occasions to complain in Tesco's and everytime i get my money back and a replacement item that is fit for it's purpose free of charge, i can't fault them, excellent.
