Relentless rain is wrecking the wheat harvest in Lincolnshire – with farmers predicting further increases in bread prices as a result.

Usually all the county's wheat has been brought in off the fields and is drying by the August Bank Holiday weekend.

doesn't suprise me.... was told up at waddo that some years when they do have good years harvest they are paid to plough so much in to keep prices up.
