Come meet the family . . . all 69 members who live in the SAME street

In streets across Britain many people don't even know their neighbour's names.

But that certainly isn't a problem in Cotswold Gardens, Gateshead.

This small street is home to 69 members of the same family, ranging in age from four weeks to 76 years.

in the old days this use to be the norm.

yeah it did, not 69 family members though, but 2+ families!

would be bad enough living on same street as one member lol (only kiddin)

in b'ham there was a couple of streets with 35+ family members

I don't know of any large families living in the same street but I do remember large communities of families.All were hard working, helped one another,had respect for each other and were, by and large, self policing with little ,if any, crime.Their houses and streets were spotless.All had strong values and would rally to the defence of the community.
The Hall family,from what I can gather,enjoy some of that sense of community and ,to my mind,are better off for it.

sounds like a wonderful place to live, respect, no crime ect, you dont get that now a days :/
