getting my own back on VirginMedia

Today i got a "courtesy call" from VirginMedia, they wanted to ask me some questions and assured me they weren't trying to sell me anything. but to continue i had to give them my "security word".

then i had a thought - "how do i know you are virgimedia" i asked.

"well i can tell you something about your account" she said

"but you just told me you cant view my account without my security word" i said

GOTCHA!

yeah, it was prob virginmedia, but i wasn't interested! i didn't want to buy anything, and im intolerant of phone calls like this!

they've been round my house a couple of times. trying to ask me how my services are as a lead in and then offering the new virgin HD box to which I reply. Mine looks clear enough to me

I get loads of charities and the Echo plus British Gas have been round in the past few weeks. I think they prey on council estates thinking everyone just believes and signs their benefits (I mean hard earned cash) away
